Back in February, I attended my very first Wireless LAN Professionals Conference. I was a lucky winner of 3 Mist AP43 Access Points. I was extremely impressed by the demo/presentation. Wes Purvis, Bryan Ward, Jussi Kiviniemi, Ryan Adzima, and Sudheer Matta provided some amazing information related to their products, dashboards, Marvis (AI) and along with an impressive demo.
I have been looking forward to getting the access points in hand so that I can set them up in my lab. I finally received the access points today and this first post simply gives a very high-level overview of the Mist AP43 access points and what is in the box. What’s in the box – Mist AP43
Although it has many built in features including the 3rd radio, Bluetooth antenna array and IoT sensor etc. I like the fact that it is not very thick. Second Ethernet port can be used as a PSE port however it requires 802.3bt power input on Ethernet 0.
