Juniper EX4600 Switch has 24 x 10 Gig ports and 4 x 40 Gig ports that can be used for uplink/Virtual Chassis. You can add 2 additional modules with 8 x 10 Gig ports per module to add port capacity.

I ran into this a few times and found Juniper documentation on this matter to be a bit confusing, that is why I decided to write it myself so next time I can easily reference this. By default these VC ports are not ready to form a Virtual Chassis. They were setup for uplink. Following command can verify which ports are setup for a VC.
show virtual-chassis vc-port
Converting Ports into VC Ports:
Following commands can convert the ports into VC Ports.
request virtual-chassis vc-port et-0/0/24 [***I did not need this***]
request virtual-chassis vc-port et-0/0/25 [***I did not need this***]
request virtual-chassis vc-port et-0/0/26 [***I did not need this***]
request virtual-chassis vc-port et-0/0/27 [***I did not need this***]
request virtual-chassis vc-port set pic-slot 0 port 24
request virtual-chassis vc-port set pic-slot 0 port 25
request virtual-chassis vc-port set pic-slot 0 port 26
request virtual-chassis vc-port set pic-slot 0 port 27
After I converted my ports and ran the validation command again, I got this:

This shows that Port 24, 25, 26, 27 are now vcp ports. Based on the screen shot first switch has 24/26 connected to the 25/27 on the second switch. This method converted the ports into Virtual Chassis ports on my two Juniper EX4600s.
NOTE: I had to run the following commands if the interfaces had some configuration.
delete interfaces et-0/0/24
delete interfaces et-0/0/25
delete interfaces et-0/0/26
delete interfaces et-0/0/27
commit and-quit
